Best Sparkling Lemonade

It would be easy to describe the sparkling lemonade, or soda chanh duong, at LemonGrass as "lemon-flavored sparkling water" or "lemon soda," but neither quite captures why the drink is so refreshing. The flavor is too clearly lemon, wonderfully tart (though not overwhelmingly so), to mistake it for mere sparkling water; while it is sweet, it doesn't have the blunt sugary edge of conventional soda pop. This is something else entirely: a perfect balance of tart and sweet, with carbonation zippy enough to cut through the bright flavors of LemonGrass' Vietnamese cuisine.
