Seatown Seabar & Rotisserie
2010 Western Ave., Seattle, WA 98121

Seatown, a restaurant/bar/snack-bar/rotisserie/takeout counter, is Tom Douglas' answer to the food cart—a simple, cheap, comfortable place to graze on small plates that he's too smart to call small plates, to snack in comfort and not have to suffer through an entire sit-down meal. Just about everything at Seatown, the seventh restaurant in Douglas’ culinary empire, is good: The ridiculously fresh oysters, popped and resting on beds of crushed ice; the bite of smoked salmon with blini; the ring-molded "Wild Thing" Dungeness crab salad with thin-sliced avocado, tobiko, and a spicy remoulade.
