Best Popcorn

If the quirky Wallingford restaurant Elemental were a movie, it'd be called a cult classic. First you have to find it (tucked into a condo complex, with no sign). Next, you have to get a table (no reservations are taken). If you're not up for waiting the hour or so it may take to secure a table, there's the restaurant's neighboring room, the Elemental Next Door. The E.N.D. is a more casual spot, but you can partake of the same great wines and wonderfully creative dishes. Starters include a strongly flavorful truffle popcorn—it's $3 a bowl, but it's a big bowl.
