Best Neighborhood Bar (city)

One of those places which, even years after everyone's been forced to take their cigarettes outside, will probably never quite lose its smoky aura, the Quarter offers standard happy-hour food from 4 to 7 p.m. The food offerings are $1 pizza and corn dogs, or a giant bowl of popcorn for the same price. Beer specials include domestic draft pints for $2 and microbrew draft pints for $3. With pool tables, sports on the TV, and '70s funk and disco (including vintage TV theme songs: "Good Times," etc.) on the jukebox, Quarter attracts a younger, backward-baseball-cap crowd.
