Middle Eastern may not be the first thought that comes to mind when thinking gyro, but at Aladdin Falafel Corner, it just makes sense. This gritty Ave restaurant is the perfect cheap eats for a late-night snack—it's open until 3 a.m. on weekends—but the generous portions make it good for dinner as well. It does offer food other than gyros, but that's the standout dish. Loaded with your choice of lamb, beef, chicken, or, for vegetarians, falafel, and smothered in tzatziki sauce, the wrapped sandwich has just enough bite. The one downside: Aladdin is cash only.
