Best So-Late-It's-Early Breakfast

It matters not when you consume the first meal of the day, or what you call it, as long as said meal reinvigorates, tastes delicious, and potentially involves heaps of alcohol. Realizing this, Delucchi affords late risers the option to feast on succulent pulled pork, polenta topped with melted gorgonzola and poached eggs, and crab benedicts — as late as 4 p.m. on weekdays and 2 p.m. on the weekends. In a fortunate twist of fate, these magical pre-evening hours are perfect for a pitcher of mimosas or Bloody Marys (or both), consumed while sitting outside at one of the cafe tables. You may find yourself at the cafe in time for a dinner of sautéed gulf prawns in paprika and garlic cream sauce over arugula, or veal cutlets wrapped in prosciutto.
