Amnesia also ranks lower for being less than resolutely free, though its dark, opium den-y decor qualifies it as one of the most enticing spots in the city. Mondays and Wednesdays are free, with the former mostly dedicated to some surprisingly buoyant bluegrass and the latter providing a venue to some of the best jazz on this coast.
