Best Lounge

When you go to a lounge, you want to lounge. You want to be alone if you want to be alone; you want to be able to hear your friends if you're with friends. What you don't want is to be interrupted by overecstatic frat guys hitting on every single girl there while hitting every bar in downtown wherever. Kitsch Bar, sandwiched into a quiet strip mall on Baker and Bear, is the perfect place to have a drink alone or with friends. It's dark enough that you can ignore anyone you want to, but it's bright enough for you to ogle anyone ogle-worthy. If you want to do something less solitary, you can join Trivia Night. If you don't, that's fine, too. This watering hole strikes the perfect balance between hip spot and your living room: familiar, comfortable, with strong drinks—a great place to spend your night.
