Best Lounge

If you've never been to Kitsch before, good luck trying to find it. Upon seeing nothing more than a door in a wall tucked inside a standard-issue Costa Mesa strip mall, one would never guess the swank awesomeness that lies behind that nondescript plank of wood. Plush black benches and overstuffed chairs offset the red lighting and rotating assortment of decorative tchotchkes—'70s Playboys, a collection of artist-rendered Bob's Big Boy dolls, etc. Open seven days a week, Kitsch features a tiny DJ booth where music-heads spin everything from electro and post-punk to downtempo and chill for your lounging enjoyment.
