Best Lesbian Bar

Even with all the buzz surrounding Santa Ana's newest gay bar, locals know the place isn't a total sausage fest. In fact, every Sunday, VLVT Velvet Lounge is also home to Cherry, which touts itself as "OC's Sexiest Girls' Night." The layout of the bar definitely lends itself to that title—flashy nightclub feel with lots of space to dance, a huge patio area, an interactive text-flirting system and strong drinks that make up for the damage done to your wallet. And if you come earlier than the official 9 p.m. start time, there's a gourmet menu that will have you licking your fingers—think of it as a warm-up for later.
