Best Happy Hour

Partake of this happy hour just once, and brace yourself for a daily struggle to not ditch work early. The fun times begin at 2:30 p.m. and last until 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, which is unheard of these days. If you can make it there by 2:30 p.m., the items on the happy-hour menu are only $2.30. As each hour passes, prices increase by $1. You can feast on everything from swordfish tacos with cabbage and pico de gallo and $1 oysters to barbecue-pork sandwiches and blackened-chicken quesadillas. The house margaritas are only $5, with flavors such as blueberry, raspberry and mango. And with a name like House of Big Fish & Ice Cold Beer, you'd better believe they have a discount on beers: All are $1 off. Well drinks and house wine are both $5. But if you can't make it for the official happy hour, there is a late-night option from 9 p.m. to close seven nights a week. You really can't go wrong, especially with the spectacular ocean views.
