Best Burger

Michael Schepers opened a juice bar in a faceless Irvine corporate building, then decided to start making burgers on a whim. Soon, crazy Yelp kids and foodies in this burger-starved county began making pilgrimages to his tiny Mick's Karma Bar, to the point that Schepers was making hundreds of burgers per day. While his most famous is the Karma Burger, all about the fresh-ground chuck and perfect working of sweet and tartness, better are his weekly specials—the best of which is the habanero burger, the greatest proof of Mexican assimilation's beauty since Cheech Marin.
