Best Sancocho

The best pumpkin-thickened sancocho (Dominican chicken and pork stew) is to be found at EL ECONOMICO, a hop, skip, and a jump over the bridge from Inwood. A friend raves about the rotisserie chickens, which come with a vinegary dipping sauce. The roast pork also verges on the superlative.
