Often enough, these can break both the back and the bank, but Greenpoint designer duo Hayden-Harnett takes our side on this: Their handbags are spacious and solidly crafted, with interesting geometric hardware accents and comfy, discreet shoulder padding. Their recent diffusion line for Target was a fast seller, and those profits should keep them in pierogi for many years to come, but we're still excited about the upscale leather wares in their Brooklyn and Soho boutiques. There are none better.
