When getting inked, it's always reassuring to have an experienced person doing the drawing. Nolan and his shop, Acme Tattoo in St. Paul, have been in the tat biz for decades, earning endless praise from the local and national tattoo communities. Nolan's reputation even landed him in the Guinness Book of World Records for his work on the woman who owns a tattoo record, but he remains the same approachable, down-to-earth guy who opened Acme in 1988. Simply put, Nolan offers the steady hand and wealth of experience anybody could hope for when getting tattooed. And his prices—$45 shop minimum and $140 per hour—aren't bad either.
