You'll be positively giddy after watching children chase chickens and read aloud to their parents, so take a stroll down to Lake Harriet. The walking paths are peaceful and relaxing, and there's plenty of space to let out extra energy. The beaches are perfect for young families, and you can speed around the lake by bike without running into too many traffic jams. Head back into the Linden Hills neighborhood for an ice cream cone at Sebastian Joe's. The Oreo ice cream cannot be missed.
