Best Margarita

Bon Appetit magazine called Masu one of the 10 best new sushi bars in America. And City Pages has also named it the best sushi restaurant in town. Granted, a sushi bar—even a great one--wouldn't be the first place one would think to find one of the Cities' finest margaritas, but this one really is. Another creation of bartender extraordinaire Johnny Michaels, the Godzillita margarita ($9) makes use of a plum tea syrup, ginger, and a hot pepper tincture. The glass is rimmed with a black and white salt mixture that adds a nice contrast against the deep green cocktail, a neat aesthetic.
