Best Dim Sum

Everyone's got their own favorite spot for dim sum inside My Le Hoa (pronounced "may lee WAH"). Some stake out tables near the kitchen door so that they can pounce the minute a cart bursts in bearing hot fried crab claws, smoky, five-spice quail, or steaming, pork-filled banana-leaf pockets. Others head for a table toward the back, so kids can cartwheel and gambol to their heart's content. Still others claim territory in the center of the banquet-sized room so they can survey other diners' plates--is that beef chow fun over there, or what? Wherever you set up, remember this: Wear loose-waisted clothes, since it's nearly impossible not to overeat. Dim sum is served Saturdays and Sundays, 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; prices range from $1.75 to $4.50 per item.
