Best Restaurant Decor

We have to give props to an oldie but goodie, Palme d'Or at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. For classic French grandeur, no one does it better in Miami. The dining room is softly lit with mirrors reflecting the suffused brilliance of crystal chandeliers, which are tastefully applied without an overdose of Baroque. The tables are spread far enough apart to allow for sweet nothings to be spoken above a whisper without being overheard. Carved wood ceiling details surround hand-painted frescoes overhead. Très romantique.
