From the elevator, a passageway leading to the pool, restaurant and small bar is filled with the scent of camphor wafting from a world-class luxury massage room. Once you step onto the roof, you experience a Mary Poppins–and-Bert moment in reverse: The views look out not over filthy chimneys but over the chimneys of the filthy rich. If it's a warm evening, the sights are spectacular — after all, a hot Euro guy might lazily stretch out on a chaise longue.
