Seven years ago, Bobby Stuckey and chef Lachlan MacKinnon-Patterson opened Frasca Food & Wine, a game-changing restaurant that raised the bar for every fine-dining concept that's entered the market since. It took them half a decade to figure out what to do next, but they ultimately settled on a true Napolitano pizzeria. To pull it off, they exported a chef for a few months and imported an oven, zeroing in on making pies exactly as they're made in Italy. And today Pizzeria Locale is turning out some of the best pizza in the state -- it nabbed our Best Pizza award -- alongside charcuterie, stunning desserts and the partners' Scarpetta wine, which pours on tap.
